Welcome, New Members!
Members are the life-blood of Hawaiian Music Hall of Fame - we exist for you, and cannot exist without you! Information on how you can join in the effort to support traditional Hawaiian music - its promotion, preservation, and perpetuation as we celebrate the achievements of significant composers, singers, and performers - is contained in every issue of this newsletter and in periodic updates of our website: www.hawaiimusicmuseum.com. Our innovative program of teaching Hawai`i's kids Hawaiian music as part of their education, E Mele Kakou, is alive and well in Honolulu schools. And our upcoming concert, Na `Ilina, celebrates those who embody the best of this tradition. (Got your tickets yet? see elsewhere in this issue for details!)
