Meymo Holt collaborated with other writers on these songs: My Hula Lady(1935), Not Pau(1942), Goodnight Aloha(1942). Does anyone know of other songs that she contributed to. Is that her in the movie Honolulu(1939), credited as native dancing girl "Kealoha" Holt in the luau scene? Also, I'd be interested in what became of her after she left Ray Kinney's band in the forties. |

Kealoha Holt (Curnan)of Kaua'i was the dancer in Honolulu. She was crowned Hula Queen of Hawaii in 1939 and the movie part was one of the prizes awarded by MGM Studios who sponsored the event. |
